LP2-Fax and Email

Wow! I never knew that email could be so intensive! I was completely email illiterate now that I have learned all of this! I never knew that you could filter your inbox or create distribution lists. That sure helps when you are doing something specific.

Faxing on the other hand has been pretty basic. The only thing that I didn't know was that you can fax from online. I thought that was kind of neat.

Hey everyone!

This is it...my ever famous blog! Well, during LP 1 I learned quite a bit. I thought I knew what most of the stuff was (wikis, social networking, podcasts, RSS feeds), but I was wrong. I learned in great detail what most of this stuff is and is about. It was actually kind of cool to actually know how to use most of this. The part that I found most fascinating was the RSS feeds. It is the coolest that you can have certain things automatically emailed to you without having to go looking for it.

Besides what we learned in class, I learned some basic things from some of the IT guys in class. For example, if you go to www.cnet.com you can get free virus software for your PC! I thought that was cool as well! I know, little things amuse me!!!
